Job Overview: Shift, based on business schedule

Responsible for smoothly running operations of all activities in the Stewarding department. Assure that the level of service is conform the policies & procedures and conform the standards of performance of the Renaissance Wind Creek Curaçao Resort.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience practicing the food production
  • A certificate of the Great Food Safe Food training 
  • Team player.
  • Be a responsible and motivated person.
  • Be a self-starter.
  • Ability to work flexible hours.
  • Have good knowledge of preparation standards.
  • A good physical condition.
  • Good communication skills (English speaking and writing should be fluent, a second language is required and can be Dutch, Spanish or Papiamento)

Responsibilities: (please ensure you meet the listed requirements prior to applying)

  • Responsible for reporting maintenance requests to your Supervisor.
  • Maintain good communication through the daily Log Book.
  • Have good knowledge of all hotel facilities in order to answer all guest questions.
  • Responsible for maintaining good working relations and good communication with the kitchen and wait staff.
  • Assure that all kitchen outlets have enough China, silver and glassware at all times and assure that all materials are clean and in a good condition.
  • Always check the chemicals, supplies, materials and equipment for the coming shift.
  • Assist your colleagues at all times.
  • Maintain the working places neat, clean, safe and well organized at all times.
  • Be aware of all safety procedures of the hotel.
  • Always be aware of the special events, incoming groups and functions.
  • Make sure that the level of service within the Stewarding department is conform the standards of performance of the Renaissance Wind Creek Curaçao Resort at all times.
  • Responsible for mopping and sweeping the floors.
  • Responsible for emptying trash
  • Responsible for cleaning all items brought to the Stewarding department.
  • Perform any other duties as required.
  • When in Banqueting: Deliver all banquet food to all function rooms and retrieve dirty dishes from these rooms
