To maintain safety and peace on the resort properties in order to provide a warm, welcome and safe environment for the hotel guests, while responsible for maintaining a safe working environment for the employees. Assure that the quality of the work performed is conform the policies and procedures and conform the standards of performance of the Renaissance Wind Creek Curaçao Resort.

Requirements:
- MBO education
- Service oriented
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in a team
- Good computer skills
- Good command of English, Dutch, Spanish and Papiamentu (both verbal and in writing)
Responsibilities: (please ensure you meet the listed requirements prior to applying)
Administrative
- Ensure that all found items are logged and given to Supervisor for further processing
Communication
- In case of and emergency notify the department head or MOD.
- Brief the next officer on the passed shift.
Guest Relation
- Handle all complaints, special requests, thefts and lost items properly and with professionalism.
- Have basic knowledge of all hotel, mall and casino facilities
General
- Provide visitors with a visitor’s badge before entering the hotel.
- Responsible for completing at least three property patrols per shift, see manual for objects to patrol.
- Keep alert to maintenance needs, radio all safety hazards immediately.
- Keep alert on suspicious persons.
- Always assist in interdepartmental security needs to ensure an optimal level of guest satisfaction.
- All Security Officers will make arrest in manner prescribed by law.
- Be aware of all safety procedures of the hotel
