Purpose of the Department:

The purpose of the department is to drive revenue, increase occupancy and enhance the resort’s brand image. Sales is responsible for attracting and securing new business, negotiating contracts and building relationships to drive conversion. Marketing develops and implements strategies to promote the resort and its outlets, creates awareness and generates leads through various channels, including digital marketing, marketing communications and PR. Revenue aspect focuses on optimizing revenue through pricing strategies, demand forecasting and inventory management. Together these disciplines work collaboratively to maximize revenue, increase bookings, and establish a strong market presence for the resort.

Job Profile:
The Revenue Coordinator supports the property’s revenue strategy by assisting in data analysis, inventory management, pricing strategy execution, and reporting functions. This role collaborates closely with Sales, Front Office, and Reservations to optimize revenue opportunities, enhance forecast accuracy, and ensure alignment with the company’s strategic revenue goals.

Core Work Activities:

Revenue Strategy Execution

  • Support the Director of Revenue Management in daily yield and inventory strategies.
  • Assist in the implementation and monitoring of pricing across channels (Marriott.com, OTAs, GDS).
  • Maintain rate plans, restrictions, and inventory controls in Marriott systems (e.g., One Yield 2.0, MARSHA).
  • Monitor market trends, competitive pricing, and local demand drivers.
  • Reporting & Analysis
  • Generate and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly revenue reports (e.g., pickup, pace, STR).
  • Track performance metrics including RevPAR, ADR, Occupancy, and Total Revenue.
  • Assist in data collection and preparation for forecasting and budgeting processes.

Systems & Tools Administration

  • Ensure accuracy of data in revenue management systems and third-party platforms.
  • Support rate loading, mapping, and audits across PMS, CRS, and channel managers.
  • Coordinate with the Reservations team to ensure system integrity and rate parity.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Serve as liaison between the Revenue Management team and other departments to ensure alignment on strategy and availability.
  • Participate in Sell Strategy Meetings (SSM) and contribute insights on trends and booking patterns.
  • Assist in training front-line associates on revenue-impacting processes (e.g., upselling, rate quoting).

Education, technical knowledge and skills:

High school diploma or GED.

1–2 years of experience in hotel operations or revenue support role preferred.

Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Marriott systems such as MARSHA, One Yield 2.0, and Opera is a plus.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Computer literate – Be able to work with MARSHA, Opera, Empower and other Microsoft Office Software.

Applied knowledge of the hotel – Have specific knowledge of hotel layout and design of every guest room, as well as being familiar with the surrounding area, the Renaissance Island and the Convention Centre.
