Job Overview:  8am – 4:30pm (Shift subject to change based on business needs)

The Maintenance Technician 2 performs routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repair procedures on buildings, mechanical equipment and utility systems. Other duties may be assigned establish welcome, warm, safe and friendly atmosphere for all guests and employees of the Renaissance Wind Creek Curacao Resort. Responsible for maintaining a consistently high level of quality and service within the Engineering department, applying to policies & procedures and the standards of performance of the Renaissance Wind Creek Curacao Resort.

Requirements:

  • MBO level with relevant work experience
  • 3 years general commercial property maintenance or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of ‘GXP’ and ‘Materials Control’ is desired
  • Computer skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Good communication and social skills
  • Good organizational skills
  • Good command of English, Dutch, Spanish and Papiamentu (both verbal and in writing)

Responsibilities: (please ensure you meet the listed requirements prior to applying)

General:

  • Assist in maintaining track of tools, and assure workspace and equipment are in good condition at all times.
  • Maintain your working place neat, clean, safe and well organized.
  • Be a good representative of the Renaissance Wind creek Curaçao Resort
  • Be aware of all safety procedures of the hotel.
  • Have basic knowledge of all hotel facilities.
  • Attend all required meetings (as requested by the Management)

Administrative:

  • Supports with GXP system and work orders

Guests and Suppliers Relations:

  • Handle all complaints and special requests of guests with professionalism.

Communication:

  • Observe proper use and assure communication of safety procedures.
  • Ensure proper use and assure communication of operation procedures and documents.
