Job Description
Deals assigned games, determining winners and losers, collecting and paying bets, protecting and securing the integrity of games through observation and ensuring the faithful compliance of policies, principles and procedures of the Wind Creek Casino Curaçao B.V. maintaining a superior customer service at all times.
Responsibilities:
• Efficiently deal the table games as described in established policies and procedures, maintaining compliance with all other casino regulations.
• Greet customer in friendly, professional and welcoming manner, assuring that guests have a favorable gaming experience.
• Maintains a clean and neat playing, calling the game (hand) at all times.
• Handles customer’s transaction for buy-ins and payoffs.
• Verifies fills and credits to game.
• Safeguard company assets and securing the integrity of the game.
• Deals table games while ensuring the faithful compliance of policies, principles and procedures of the casino.
• Apply skill in the dealing individuals, combination of one or all games, such as craps, black jack, roulette, Caribbean stud poker, three-card poker or others.
• Deliver to the best of your ability and job limitations, a level of superior customer service.
• Educates players on the proper rules and procedures of the table games.
• Helping train new dealer and assisting new dealers during the training period.
• Monitor customers’ play and table action to insure security of game and casino assets.
• Notifies Casino Supervisor of any irregularities noted in customer play and of other transactions during shift.
• Informs supervisor of all suspicious or unusual activity.
• Public relations function: Recognize regular casino patrons, who look forward to being greeted by important figures in the casino
• Human relations function: Recognize and act on direct employee needs and all customers needs.
Requirements:
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Good working knowledge of various table games.
• Must have basic math skills.
• Able to work in a good gaming entertainment environment.
• English and Spanish in speaking should be fluent. Dutch and Papiamento are a pre.
• Have excellent oral and written communications skills.
• Bilingual and multi-cultural experience preferred.
• Creating teamwork by helping co-workers with essential functions.
• A good physical condition, ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Be a responsible and motivated person.
• Outgoing personality and be a creative person.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle stress.
• Good problem solving abilities.
• Must have excellent customers service abilities.
• Maintain under normal circumstances an average game pace.
• Ability and willingness to learn new technologies and new product lines.
