Supervising the kitchen staff within the Partie and making sure that all prepared food items and provided service are conform the policies & procedures of the Renaissance Wind Creek Curacao Resort. Assist in providing a nice, safe, clean and well maintained working place at all times. Assure that all the work performed is conform the policies and procedures and conform the standard of performance of the Renaissance Wind Creek Curacao Resort as well as the Food & Safety Program policy according to Marriott standards.

Requirements:
- Minimum 2-year supervisory experience
- Relevant working experience
- Knowledge of HACCP standards
- Knowledge of food handling and sanitation standards
- Computer skills (word and excel)
- Didactic skill/ ability to train and develop staff
- Leadership skills
- Ability to organize and plan with good communication skills
- Ability to create menus, write recipes and create new dishes
- Knowledge of overall kitchen operations
- Good communication skills in English, Dutch, Papiamentu and Spanish.

Communication
- Maintain good working relations with the service staff at all times.
Coordinative
- Supervise the kitchen staff within the Partie and assist them at all times.
- Control proper use of all materials and use of equipment in the outlets.
Guest Relation
- Have good knowledge of all hotel facilities in order to answer all guest questions.
- Handle all complaints and special requests with professionalism.
General
- Have perfect knowledge of all Food & Beverage items, special menu’s etc. at all times.
- Start and finish all soups for the Restaurant, Room Service department, bar and the Banqueting department.
- Prepare and start all sauce bases.
- Prepare and send hot food to the Employee Cafeteria according to the menus as dictated by the Executive Chef.
- Assist the Banqueting department in preparing all requested food items.
- Assist the Sous Chef and the Executive Chef at all times.
- Attend all required meetings (as requested by the Management).
- Responsible for making all cheese trays.
- Assist in the preparation of all canapés and fruit displays.
- Perform any other duties as required.
- Be aware of the safety procedures of the hotel, and make sure the kitchen staff within the Partie is as well.
- Responsible for assuring that the quality of the prepared food within the Partie is conforming the standards of the Renaissance Curacao Resort & Casino.
- Review the function sheets and daily events list at all times and make sure all employees within the Partie are aware as well.
- Maintain your working station clean, neat, safe and well organized at all times.
- Must be certified by the Serve Safe Program according to Marriott standards
- Must score at least 75% on the Serve Safe Program according to Marriott standards and report immediately to Executive Chef.
- Person must comply with the 70pts audit and pass the audit with a minimum of 80% according to the Marriott standards.
- Person should understand and apply to the basics and responsibilities of the Food & Safety Program according to Marriott standard
